Congratulations to Holly for winning last month's prize for our idea share! Thanks to everyone who left a comment with their best quilting tip. I know I learned some new ideas! This month we would like everyone to share a favorite quilting internet site or link. Remember, everyone who makes a comment or writes a post on this topic will be entered to win a prize at next months meeting.
There are sooooo many good sites; however, on the guild website we have a list of links. As a guild member, you can add links you'd like to share with the members. An applique site I have listed in the list is Fatcat Patterns. They have a lot of free patterns to download for personal use. They are also designed on EQ, she is very skilled and does a fantastic job!
ReplyDeleteWell, there is this blog spot called sewmamas.blogspot.com that I just love to get on line and look at. I love to see all the show and tell pics from the Piece in the Valley Quilt Guild. I love the show and tell, I pour over the pics and think to myself I want to make a quilt like that one and that one and I go on and on. I get a lot of ideas and inspiration from all of you. Thanks
ReplyDeleteMelissa actually told me about this site, but I find myself going to it over and over again. It is psiquilt.com. The lady who does the blog has several links to other sites that are equally amazing and my new project, a pinwheel quilt, came from this site as well. I love to see what other people are making and this is wealth of info for that purpose!
ReplyDeleteI went to my 'quilting' favorites and counted 106. I think I might be out of control! But one that I recently found is:

Well I know I have said this before but I LOVE Moda Bakeshop!
ReplyDeleteI really like quilt alongs, like the one at psiquilt.com, Old Red Barn co., and the new Crazy Mom Quilts one. One I really want to do at some point is the paintbox quilt at http://www.ohfransson.com/oh_fransson/quiltalongs.html.
