Quilt Label

This is just one example of a label I put on a quilt I made for my Mother-n-law.  Her Mother had passed away, so I took her clothing and made a scrappy quilt for her.  She just love it.

Block of the Month September

Ladies...........sorry I have been so slow at this. Here are the blocks for this month. I'll try to get the other colorway on here in the next couple of days. I hope you are having fun! ...Carol

It has occurred to me that this block would look really nice with the floral fabrics reversed.......you choose which you want to do.....I would keep the pinwheel dark..........

Our idea share this month is- How do you label your quilt. Tell what you do, post a picture and or bring an example to quilt guild next month! Please include the info you put on the label, what you make your label out of, how you write on your label and how you attach it to the quilt.

September Quilt Guild

Next Month we are looking forward to having Julie Saville come to our meeting and do a trunk show. Be sure to mark your calendars and bring a friend. For November come early at 6:00 and learn from Holly N. how to make the little bag to hold credit cards/ punch card etc. you will need 2-10 inch squares of fabric and 20 inches of rick rack.

This year at Snow Goose we will be doing demonstrations instead of classes. If you would like to do a demonstration let us know. Times will be from 10-11 and from 2-3.

We were very lucky this month to have Barbra Walsh come and share with us some ideas on organizing your sewing space. She had a great slide show with many different organizational ideas. She also shared with us some of her own quilts here are some of her amazing works of art!
