March Quilt Guild

Marsha and MaryAnn from the Corn Wagon Quilt shop in Springville came to do our program this month. They showed us two different applique techniques. The first was a block from Penny Haren's Pieced Applique book. This pattern is also found in the Feb 2009 Quilting Classic Quilts Magazine. The website for her book publisher is www.landuercorp.com. The second demonstration was for a Shooting Star block.

After the demonstrations we were treated to a trunk show from their shop. Here are some of the great quilts they showed us.
